As a student, you'll be pleasantly surprised to discover that there are numerous freebies and perks available to you that can make your life in the city more enjoyable without draining your wallet. Check them out below:
Get a free cheeseburger, mayo chicken or Mcflurry with your meal when you present your student card (or Student Beans ID), it's that simple! You could get a smaller meal and then add on the free cheeseburger and save loads of money.
Bring in your empty containers and tubes to John Lewis and get £5 off your next £20 purchase! It's better for the environment and your wallet, you just need to be a John Lewis member and drop off at least five clean empty containers at any beauty counter.
Get your CV reviewed by a professional (for free remember) when you sign up to the Graduate Recruitment Bureau. They are all about finding university graduates jobs in the industries relevant to them, so it's worth doing anyway because you might find a job through them as well.
Thanks to the NHS, the UK offers free condoms for its residents! Rather than spending a fortune, you can get as many condoms as you want as a student. You can get other sexual health products for free as well, all you have to do is find your nearest sexual health clinic and go pay them a visit.
