If you're not registered with a General Practitioner (GP), where you can access doctor's appointments, vaccines and health checks, register with St Philips Medical Centre, the GP on LSE's campus, or your local GP.
Measles - information to help you stay well
There’s been an increase in reports of measles in the UK, a serious infection with cold-like symptoms and a rash. Make sure you’re protected through the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccine, which protects you against three serious illnesses. Getting the vaccine from your GP is free, or covered by the health care charge some international students have already paid.
Register with your GP if you haven't already to get advice about vaccinations, or if you become unwell. If you come into contact with someone who has measels and are unvaccinated, you could be in isolation for up to 21 days.
