We're signed up to the Student Accommodation Code
The University of London is signed up to The Student Accommodation Code, a national set of standards which protect your rights to safe, good quality university accommodation. The Code is designed to make sure you get the best out of your time living in university residences. It outlines everything you should expect from us as well as your responsibilities in your accommodation.
The Code protects your rights to:
- A healthy, safe environment.
- Timely repairs and maintenance.
- A clean, pleasant living environment.
- A formal, contractual relationship with your landlord.
- Access to health and wellbeing services.
- A living environment free from anti-social behaviour.

How to address any issues you have with your accommodation
If you're dissatisfied with something about your accommodation experience, you can let us know using our complaints procedure, which can be found on the page for your intercollegiate hall at halls.london.ac.uk.
If you're still not happy after our final response to your complaint, you can get in touch with the OIA which is the independent body set up for student complaints. For more information, go to:
