At Intercollegiate Hall you're always supported!

By Konrad 02 Sep 2023

Greetings, Future and Current Residents of Intercollegiate Halls of Residence! :)

We're thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you as you embark on your journey at Intercollegiate Halls, your new home away from home within the vibrant University of London community. As you settle in and begin this exciting chapter, we want you to know that you're not alone. The Intercollegiate Halls of Residence are not just about rooms where people live and facilities that they use; they're also about creating an environment that nurtures your wellbeing and supports your personal growth.

Introducing the Wardens Team: Your Pillars of Support

Allow us to introduce you to the heart of our support system: the Wardens Team. Their mission revolves around ensuring your safety, comfort, and overall experience throughout your stay.

Resident Advisors (RAs)

RAs are experienced students who have walked the same path you're embarking on. They understand the unique challenges and joys of university life, making them your ideal mentors and friends. RAs are carefully selected for their empathy, approachability, and commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all residents. They’re your go-to guides for any questions, concerns, or advice you might need, whether it's about settling into your room, understanding the community, or seeking assistance during challenging times.

Wardens

The Wardens are dedicated professionals who are here to make your transition to university life as smooth as possible. They bring a wealth of experience to their roles, having navigated the university journey themselves. Their presence serves as a reassuring anchor for both new and returning residents, embodying the values of respect, empathy, and community. You can contact them via Resident Advisors or email them directly if you’d like to.

Please see this article for more information on how you can contact the Warden’s Team.

Building a Supportive Community

At Intercollegiate Halls, we're not just a collection of rooms; we're a community. The Warden’s Team works tirelessly to foster a sense of belonging among our residents. They organise events, activities, and gatherings that encourage you to connect with your fellow residents and build lasting friendships. Whether it's movie nights, game sessions, or themed parties, these moments provide opportunities to unwind, have fun, and forge connections that can last a lifetime.

How to Connect with Your Support System

Engaging with the Wardens Team is easy. You can find all the necessary contact details in this CampusLife article. They're just an email or visit to reception away, ready to listen, guide, and assist you whenever needed. You'll find comfort in knowing that you're never alone in your journey – the Warden’s Team is here to stand by your side every step of the way.
