Sustainability: Check out The Hard to Recycle Hub!

Do you have a clear out, or tidy and want to reduce the amount of items that are put in your general waste?

The Accommodation and Commercial Services are pleased to launch our Recycle Hub, for your hard-to-recycle and donatable items. This is located at The Edge, to the left of the customer services reception desk and can be accessed at any time.

The following items can be collected, and they will be recycled or donated to a series of good causes:

Bras
Pens
Crisps packets
Clothes (in a clean and usable condition)
Books (in a usable condition)
Batteries
Used Stamps

What Is Donate, Don't Waste?

The Donate, Don't Waste is a scheme designed to help students donate reusable items, recycle waste and minimise their impact on the environment and local community when they move out of their student accommodation.

As part of the Donate, Don't Waste scheme, we have recently launched a Hard to Recycle Hub, located at The Edge Hub and is open Monday - Sunday on a 24/7 basis.
