Sheffield's Top Vegan Spots

If you’re new to Sheffield and want to find the best plant based options then look no further! We’ve collected our highlights for you!

Vegan Spots; 

Church - Temple of Fun (https://templeof.fun/) Vegan kitchen and bar housed in Osborn Works in Kelham Island. Serves burgers, loaded fries, sides and desserts. Gluten-free options. It also boasts an arcade and live music venue



Make No Bones (https://www.makenobones.co.uk/) This iconic vegan spot has been around since 2013. The menu features chicken-style wings, burgers, pesto fries, stew, seitan ribs, and fried pickles. Bar features all vegan beer, wine, and cocktails. 



Humpit (https://humpit-hummus.com/) Low-key counter-serve fixture showcasing creative hummus & pita plates, plus wraps & salads. Located in Orchard Square in Sheffield Town Centre. 



Fanoush (https://www.facebook.com/fanoushfalafel/) Quick service vegetarian salad bar restaurant on Sheffield’s London Road. Serves falafel wraps and salad boxes to take away.



Tigs Bagel and Coffee House (https://www.instagram.com/tigssheffield/?hl=en) A primarily vegan coffee and bagel house on Campo Lane. The menu is vegan as standard, but a small number of items can be made with dairy if requested. Serves mainly bagels but also other breakfast and lunch dishes. 



Pom Kitchen (https://www.instagram.com/pomkitchen_/?hl=en) Pom Kitchen has an INCREDIBLE instagram showcasing their decadent desserts. It serves bowls, raw treats, avocado toast and much more. All items can be made vegan upon request. Currently they reside on Sharrow Vale road with another location opening in Crookes. 



Dishidrop (https://www.dishidrop.com/) Plant based Asian inspired meals at home with changing menu daily. Sheffield’s first and only waste-free takeaway option! They focus on seasonal vegetables from local markets.



Places with great vegan options; 

NǍM SÔNG (https://www.namsong.co.uk/) Vietnamese Coffee House, Bar and Kitchen famous for their orange walls, beautiful lanterns, comfy cushions and buzzing atmosphere. 



Falafel King (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186364-d3845763-Reviews-Falafel_King-Sheffield_South_Yorkshire_England.html) A Sheffield University institution; you will always see a huge line outside at lunchtime. The greatest falafel wrap you will ever have - well worth the wait! Only accepts cash! There is now another one in Broomhill if you fancy a wrap on the walk down



View Deli @ The Students Union (https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/cafesandbars/view-deli) There are incredible plant based offerings in our own SU! View Deli has vegetarian dishes including deli sandwiches and salads with range of vegan options all with views over the city. 



Bar One @ The Students Union (https://su.sheffield.ac.uk/eat-drink-shop/bar-one) Bar One is open daily serving food until 9pm - bringing you best burgers, beers and great times. Known for being your student home from home with great events like the Sunday Quiz, our special Monday Quiz (think Harry Potter, Friends and everything else!), Yo Karaoke! and being the home of the official pre-bar for all of your favourite Students’ Union nights out!



Peddler Market (https://www.peddlerwarehouse.com/peddler-market/) Now in its seventh year, Peddler Market is hosted monthly for those seeking out the best independent street food the UK has to offer. Plenty of plant based options to be found.
