Managing Your Debt

Coming to University comes with its financial costs. We know that sometimes it is hard to manage money, especially if you have never been financially independent before. Therefore it is important to learn how to budget money so that you do not get into debt. Using tools to help you budget can enable you to make your money last longer, links are included below to some budgeting tools from the University.

When you open your student account it may be the first time you have been offered an overdraft or a credit card. Before taking these out you need to think about whether you can afford to repay them should you run up a debt. What you do now with your finances can impact you in the future.
