Insurance: how much cover is included?
At the University of Sheffield, we include contents insurance in our rent costs, so your child or family member is covered while they are living with us.
There is £5,000 for individuals and 7,500 for families of room contents insurance included as part of each student's rent, with Cover4Students.
Students with expensive bicycles, musical instruments or other high-value items may want to consider upgrading their insurance, which can be done online via the Cover4students website.
