How to... Stay Safe on Bonfire Night
It's nearly Bonfire Night!
This is a polite reminder that fireworks should not be set off in or around the residences - they are a fire hazard, can cause injury if used improperly, and are not permitted as part of our Residence Contract.
Whilst a lot of events have sold out, taking a trip up to Bole Hill is a popular choice for locals and students alike as it provides an excellent view of the fireworks going off all over the city.
You might also be able to view the fireworks from the Illuminate the Gardens event at the Botanical Gardens, with tickets still available for Sunday night.
