Help with Bereavement
Unfortunately, at some point all of us will experience bereavement in our lives. We understand that a bereavement when you are at university can be incredibly hard to navigate your way through. We want you to know that there is support available and the most important thing is that you reach out and speak to people so that they know your situation and can help you to get the appropriate support.
You can find out what you need to do about your studies here:
https://students.sheffield.ac.uk/support-hub/wellbeing/bereavement
You may also wish to contact:
The University Health Service - https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/health-service/contact
The Wellbeing Service- https://students.sheffield.ac.uk/ssid/contacts/all-contacts/student-wellbeing
An external support service, Cruse - https://www.cruse.org.uk/
Remember, you can always arrange to speak to your Residence Life Mentor or attend the Residence Life Mentor Drop-in.
You can also arrange to speak to a Student Support and Wellbeing Officer at Residence Life via email at residentsupport@sheffield.ac.uk.
