Free Activities with the Sport and Physical Activity Department
If you want to keep fit then look no further than the Sport and Physical Activity Department; responsible for all aspects of sport and fitness within the University. They offer a huge array of sports and fitness including; gym, squash, football, climbing and swimming as well as loads of fitness classes.
You just need to sign up to the University of Sheffield Sport Website and register your account; you'll be able to book everything after that!
Booking opens 4 days before the session.

Monday
Spin Class @ 7.15pm
Goodwin Sports Centre
Want an high intensity cycling workout? Come to our spin class; resistance based interval training to improve your endurance, strength and speed. Get your blood pumping and feel the endorphins.
Tuesday
Learn to Lift @ 4.40-6.00pm - STARTING IN JANUARY (Please check back!)
Goodwin Sports Centre
One of the main barriers to weight lifting is a lack of knowledge and confidence; this programme is set up to encourage people to head to the gym and start their lifting journey. Only 12 places available so sign up quick!
Fancy a quick game of squash? Doesn't matter if you're playing for fun or honing your skills just grab a racket - the court is waiting!
Wednesday
Campus Leagues 5-a-side Football @3.00-4.00pm
Goodwin Sports Centre
Who doesn't love football? Grab your flatmates, form a team and try to beat your neighbours! The league should kick off in October so look out for sign up info.
Thursday
Squash @ 12.40-3.20pm (2 slots)
