If you live in our City Accommodation then you’re just a few minutes away from the heart of bustling Sheffield. Here are our top picks of restaurants, cafes and bars just a few minutes from your door. These are all great places to grab a bite or hang out with friends. 

Restaurants

Cubana - Welcome to all that is Cuba in the heart of Sheffield. Authentic tapas, cocktails and fantastic music! The atmosphere is always electric and the bar downstairs offers live music and dance classes. 

Terrace Goods - If you want cheap and tasty food and banging cocktails with a great atmosphere a then look no further than Terrace Goods! They offer amazing fried chicken and pizza slices with options for the veggies and vegans too. 

Ego’s - Ego’s is a Mediterranean restaurant that’s perfect for a date night, celebration or meal with your family. Enjoy everything from hanging kebabs to grilled fish with an extensive rage of pizza, pasta and paella. 

BB’s Italian - On the heart of Division Street, BB’s Italian is a Sheffield institution. A family run restaurant that provides authentic italian food at great prices. PLUS you can bring your own wine! What’s not to love?!

Tsuki - If you’ve got a love of Sushi and Sashimi then head to West Street for a stylish Japanese experience with traditional sake as well as cocktails and craft beer! They also offer takeaway. 

Lemongrass Thai Street Food - Situated in the bustling Moor Market, Lemongrass offers delicious Thai food cooked fresh using authentic ingredients and products. They have an extensive menu that includes a huge vegan section. Also available for home delivery. 

Cafes

Steam Yard - Steam Yard is a fantastic little coffee shop nestled on Division Street. Offering a wide selection of coffees and tasty sandwiches and snacks including cronuts! You can’t make a reservation so just hope you nab a table either inside or in their little courtyard! 

Tamper Coffee - Bringing Kiwi coffee culture to Sheffield! The focus is on the incredible coffee and the seasonal menu that comes straight from the Tamper kitchen. The house espresso recipe is adapted every 3 months to keep pace with seasonal patterns! 

Marmadukes  - Marmadukes started with one cosy cafe in the heart of Sheffield in 2012; they now have 3 locations across the city all offering the same Marmadukes magic. Each of the locations has a different style but everything is made in house. As an added bonus, Marmadukes is run by a family from the Peak District!

Tabby Teas - Sheffield’s first Cat cafe! Come and cuddle up with the 11  beautiful permanent residents who are all rescue cats. Whether you are coming with a group of friends, or venturing by yourself for some kitty cuddles, you'll have a  purr-fect time.

Bars

Bungalows and Bears - -Set in an old fire station, Bungalows and Bears is a spacious bar with live music and DJ’s at the weekend. They have a great menu and extensive drinks list. 

Gatsby  - If you want a fantastic cocktail experience then head to Gatsby; it’s always free entry and they have a covered and heated beer garden. Every Saturday DJs provide the perfect Hip Hop playlist to accompany the famous Gatsby bottomless brunch!

Public - Occupying the former gent’s toilet below the grade-1 listed Victorian town hall, Public is a tiny haven of fine drinks and delicious food. Head underground for an edgy speakeasy vibe. Voted one of the top 50 cocktail bars in the country. 

Bamboo Door - Come to Sheffield’s best tiki bar and feel transported to a beautiful beach location! On Sunday - Friday until 6pm they host happy hour with £6 cocktails and £3 bottles of beer!
