How to run like a pro and stay injury free.
Staying active is very important for your physical and mental health. This is why even though all our favourites bars, pubs, restaurants and clubs are closed the government still allows us to go out for our daily dose of physical activity (at the time of writing, please double-check the government's official website for the latest advice).
Some of us will choose to go for a walk, while others will go for a run. Maybe you'll combine your walk or run with some other activity (a few pushups mid your walk? why not!). Walking is pretty easy so let's skip it, but how about running? It seems like a lot of our friends and neighbours have become professional runners, but have you ever asked yourself a question who to run correctly? It comes natural (to a lot of us), but if you want to crank it up a notch during these times and get all your activity brownie points from running you might want to explore this topic. The last thing you want right now is to end up with an injury!
Have a look at these YouTube videos and articles.
If you would like to read more about running have a look at this article: https://www.runnersworld.com/beginner/a20811257/proper-running-form-0/ and feel free to explore the whole website - Runner's World - the name says it all!
Now run!
