College Hall: Meet your warden and their team

By bzbeth 11 Sep 2023

Welcome to College Hall

We hope that you settle in and have the best experience whilst studying and living here.

To make sure we are all on the same page, please have a look at our Accommodation Handbook; you will find it in the Useful Documents section on the hall's website. There is also a copy of the licence agreement which you signed when you accepted your offer of accommodation.

Duty RA

To make sure you have the BEST time whilst living in halls, your accommodation has its dedicated Warden's Team: Resident Advisors, and Warden.

Your first point of contact is your Duty Resident Advisor (Duty RA). They are on duty every weekday (Monday - Friday) from 18:00 until 8:00 the following morning and all day (24 hours) at weekends and bank holidays. They can get in touch with the Warden at all times during an emergency or where a situation requires escalation.

A duty RA is normally present at reception between 18:00 and 18:15 every day, so if you'd like to just come and speak to them, this is the best time.

If you need to contact Duty RA, please talk to the reception - just pop in downstairs or give them a call on 0207 307 4000.

If you need to talk to someone during the day, the Hall Management team is available during office hours.

Resident Advisors

The team supports the Warden and they are all students living in the hall so you should see them around. One of the team members will always be on duty (please see Duty RA section). The whole team goes through extensive training at the beginning of the academic year to make sure they can help you when you need it the most, for example, they are trained in First Aid.

Please, come and talk to any member of the team whenever you feel like you need some extra support or if you just feel like having a bit of a chat - we're always here for you!

Your College Hall warden is Konrad Sliwiak

The Warden works full-time at the University of London and he is available in hall on a part-time basis, usually in the evenings and at weekends.

If you would like to meet with Konrad, please schedule an appointment.
