This multiple-award-winning campus is the perfect place to live and study

Jubilee Campus is a modern and sustainable campus of the University of Nottingham. It features its very own sports centre, the beautiful Millennium Gardens, and some of the most unique, sustainable architecture in the city.

It was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 1999 and has won several awards for its innovative architecture and environmental excellence. The campus is home to the Schools of Education, Computer Science, Business, and Leadership of Schools and Children’s Services, as well as the University of Nottingham Innovation Park and a Sports Centre.

The campus has over 4,000 student residences within half a mile radius and offers a range of facilities and amenities for the campus community.

The campus is built on a former industrial site and has been transformed into a green oasis that features a series of lakes, gardens, and parks that attract various wildlife and provide a relaxing atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. The campus also has impressive green credentials, such as:

roofs covered by low-growing alpine plants that help insulate and maintain steady temperatures within the buildings
heat recovery mechanical ventilation systems
lighting sensors to reduce energy consumption
photovoltaic cells integrated into the atrium roofs
lake source heating and cooling systems
biomass boiler installation
maximised use of passive ventilation engineering

The campus is also well-connected to other campuses and locations by various modes of transport, such as buses, trams, trains, cars, and bikes.
