How to reach out to security and request maintenance

We have a comprehensive Estates and Facilities team to help make your time living with us the best it can be. However the departments you may come across the most are the security team and the maintenance team (also known as Estates Operations).

In case you need to contact either of these departments, here are the details you need to know.

Security

The university's Security service provides a 24-hour uniformed presence on all campuses. 

The service is supported by a Security Administration Office and a main Control Room in the Trent Building on University Park, a Security office in the Main Building Reception at Sutton Bonington as well as Security in the Gatehouses at King's Meadow Campus and Jubilee Campus.

The main Security Administration Office is at the rear of the Hallward Library, near the Law & Social Sciences Building and is open Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm.

Security Control and Emergencies in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week
Hours of operation: 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday (Security Reception can be found at the rear of Hallward Library)

Maintenance

Your Welcome Point is responsible for the smooth day to day running of your hall and can help to resolve any issues you have with your room. 

Reporting an issue is simple and easy just contact your Welcome Point by phone, email or in person at reception.
