Once you have collected your key from the City Accommodation Centre, your accommodation is a 15-minute walk from Green Park House. Alternatively, you could take a short taxi ride. Your accommodation address is:

Thornbank Gardens,
Thornbank Place,

Check out the walking route from Green Park House to Thornbank Gardens here.

Arriving at Thornbank Gardens

Thornbank Garden is made up of four blocks. As you arrive via the main gates, the first block is Maple, then Cedar, Oak and Maple. To access level 2 to 5, there are stairs between each block. There is also lift access.

To get to your flat, you will need to swipe your access card (this will either be your library card or a temporary access card) on the reader (which is on the left of the main door of your flat). You then need to take the lift to the floor. You will need your access card to get into your flat group and your physical key to access your bedroom.

Getting to and from campus

Your nearest bus stop is on Corn Street (BS1 1JQ) or Dorchester Street (BA1 1SS). Bath Unibus Service U1/U2 will take you between the University of Bath and the City Centre. It runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week and there is a bus up to every five minutes during the day.

Beyond your accommodation

Living in the city means you have Virgil Building, our city centre student hub close by. You can find informal study areas in open-plan spaces or bookable spaces great for group work. There is also a study space available 24 hours a day in Green Park House.
