Browzer from CampusLife is an award-winning communications tool designed to help get your messages across. From confirming their place, right the way up to graduation day, our innovative and easy-to- use Browzer platform helps students make the most of their time at university.
The platform is fully supported by our team — we’re able to manage day-to-day running of the site, create content, analyse data, and build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure success.
Browzer is WCAG 2.1 compliant. Due to the nature of white-labels (custom university designs) and dynamic user content sometimes the WCAG 2.1 compliance is not fully met and we explain this in our custom accessibility statement for your university.
When we detect that WCAG 2.1 is not being met by a customer’s pages/content we step in and try to help alleviate these issues, but this is not always possible due to client branding or third party pages not being compliant, which CampusLife does not own or manage.
The Browzer platform has tools in place to help with the content creation process and help make the content WCAG compliant, for example by using AI to generate ALT text and tagging for images.
We have the accessibility statement on the bottom of each client’s Browzer pages the accessibility statements are custom for each University as certain WCAG compliance may be different dependant on designs etc.
It has not been possible to ensure that the website meets WCAG 2.1 (AA) at the current time because:
- Social media content that is embedded into the website may not always be accessible
- Some images may not have alternative text descriptions
- Some custom HTML may not be accessible
Please note, there are areas of Browzer Platform that are under the control of different parties:
- University — responsible for all written content on Browzer Platform
- Campuslife — responsible for all development and technical updates to the Browzer Platform
We’re always looking to improve the accessibility of our products and services. If you find any problems that aren’t listed on this page or think we’re not meeting the requirements of the accessibility regulations, please contact us using the contact information in the footer of this document.
If you are not able to access a service or content on the website, contact firstname.lastname@example.org Please include details of the content you need and the required format. We will then work with the team who own the service/content to get you what you need.
