What's provided in Jean Muir Student Village?
To help you with packing, it's useful to know exactly what we provide in your halls.
Take a look at the below list so you can decide what to bring so you're not over-packing!
In your bedroom:
- 3/4 bed
- Mattress protector

- Wardrobe
- Bookshelf
- Pinboard
Deluxe rooms include a double bed, a larger study area, extra storage, two armchairs and a coffee table.
Bed linen, duvet and pillows are not provided, but you can order a bedding pack online for £30 when making your application. This will be placed in your room for your arrival.
For safety reasons, cooking/heating appliances and additional furniture are not permitted in bedrooms.

Crockery, cutlery, pot, pans and kitchen utensils are not provided.
Refuse sacks are issued weekly so that you can safely dispose waste in the appropriate bins.

*It is your responsibility to clean up after yourself, mopping spillages etc. Sweeping brushes, mops and buckets are provided. Rubbish should be deposited appropriately. Cleaning services are for kitchens and communal areas only.
