My morning routine
The best way to start the day is with a solid morning routine! It helps get you up and ready for the day ahead. Here's mine if you need some inspiration.
I tend to fall into the same patterns when getting ready for whatever the day entails, so I made this reel showing off one of my typical mornings;
1. Get Up!
I know this can be the hardest part but once you're out of bed it's easy from there. I recommend setting an alarm to make sure you wake up at the right time.
2. Shower
Once I'm out of bed, I hop straight into the shower. This usually wakes me up and makes me feel fresh for the rest of the day.
3. Lesson Prep
A quick check of the schedule, so I know what I have on, always helps me remember to bring any work or equipment I might need for the day. It can be a lifesaver and only takes a couple of minutes!
4. Breakfast!
They say it's the most important meal of the day and they're not joking. If you ever feel a lack of energy or motivation, then a healthy breakfast will sort you right out. I tend to go for a bowl of cereal because it's quick, easy and tasty.
5. Pack my bag, leave the flat
After breaky there are only a couple more steps to go, starting with packing my bag. If you've done the lesson prep then you'll know what you need and you can adjust accordingly so you're not carrying around a heavy bag all day. Finally, I leave my flat (checking any travel routes first so I can arrive on time) and I'm ready to take on the day ahead of me!
I hope this helped you with your morning routine, keep it simple and you'll always start the day on good terms!
