Insider knowledge to help make the most from the city
Saurav lives in Denmark Road, Manchester. He's originally from Malaysia but is loving living in the UK and making the most of Manchester. Take a look at his favourite spots, all within just a few minutes walk of his accommodation.
Whitworth Park
A fantastic spot to soak up the sun with your mates in the summer, or explore whilst wrapped up warm in the winter. Whitworth Park is also home to the Whitworth Art Gallery, which is part of the University of Manchester.
Starbucks
They say in America there's a Starbucks on every corner. Whilst that's not quite true here in the UK you will be able to find one less than five minutes walk away from Denmark Road, perfect when you're after a caffeine fix!
Tesco
It's always handy to have a grocery store on your doorstep. This Tesco Express is just five minutes walk away. It's open 06:00–00:00, which means you can pick up supplies at virtually any time of day.
Denmark Road, is perfectly located for easy access to the essentials and to make the most of everything Manchester has to offer. So if you live here, or you're thinking of living here, make sure to get out and explore the city to find your favourite places.
