Follow this simple recipe for a true vegan delight that only takes a few steps to achieve! You can either watch the reel or follow the step-by-step guide below;
Ingredients
- Gram flour (based on the quantity of Pakodas you want to make)
- 1 Teaspoon of salt
- Red chilli powder (as per your tolerance)
- Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
- 2 Onions
- 2 Potatoes
Method
- Take some gram flour in a pan, add 1 teaspoon of salt and some red chilli powder (as per your tolerance) and mix it with water to form a thick paste.
- Chop the onions and potatoes (as shown in the video) and add them to the paste.
- Heat enough vegetable oil for deep frying in a separate pan. Then using a spoon, put the potato and onion chunks in the deep frying pan one by one. Watch carefully as they cook, flipping them over to evenly cook them on both sides.
- Finally, take them out when you see them turning a golden brownish colour. Serve them with hot English breakfast tea and some ketchup.
