Signing up to your local GP
We know that there's lots to do when you first arrive in Liverpool but make signing up to your GP on the top of your to do list...
Hopefully you will be healthy & well and will not need to reach out to your GP while at uni but if you ever catch the flu or need medical support, your GP will be your first port of call. Registering to your local GP now will make it a lot easier and quicker if it ever comes to making an appointment the GP.
If you have any medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or if you require medication, do remember to get yourself signed up as soon as you can.
Brownlow Health is your local GP and has 4 practices across Liverpool City Centre so whether you live on campus or at Greenbank, you won't be far from your local doctors.

Are your vaccinations up to date?
Checking that your protection against diseases such as Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Meningitis, Flu are up to date is super important especially while you're at uni and mixing with lots of new people.
If you need to get a vaccine, you can arrange this with the advice from your local GP.
If you're unsure on what vaccine you might need, your local practice should help you with this.
