Benefits on joining in with ResLife events
Whatever stage of university life you may be in, the ResLife team's goal is to make sure you have access to all the help, resources and support you need while living in university-owed halls.
Despite all of the above information, ResLife plans events throughout the whole academic year providing new experiences to the students.
Let’s have a look on the benefits that a student has when joining in with ResLife Events.
- Access to fun/enjoyable social events.
Students always need a time off from university responsibilities. ResLife provides a range of free events for them to attend, such as Saturday social events, game nights, movie themed nights and a lot more!
- The team is organising day trips such as Stratford-Upon-Avon, London etc.
Although there is a small cost while booking for the day trips, students are very keen on exploring new towns and getting to know more about the United Kingdom and the history behind it.
- Giving students several opportunities to learn new life skills.
Life skills like fun and relaxation, the events can also serve as a way to relax, have fun, and de-stress. Communication skills as well, many students get to know others while attending the events.
- ResLife is developing a community that is kind and safe so that students can make new friends, feel like at home and have lots of fun.
- Learning about new information.
Students are very interested in events like “haunted places in Coventry” or the “walking town tours”. They get to know about things that they did not even think about before.
