My Social Space: Talybont

Where is it?

The Talybont Social Centre is right in the heart of Talybont and is a social space all students can use. It is located in Talybont North, opposite the Southgate House Reception and right next to the Gym and Sports Hall. The current operating hours are between 8am- 10pm.

What's in there?

There is a pool table as well as some couches where you can have a seat and relax and chill with your friends. There is also a well-stocked vending machine! If you want a nearby space to study outside of your room then this is just the space too! There are study cubicles as well as several tables which are very convenient for both group and individual study. There are also lots of plugs so you don’t have to worry about your laptop battery life dying out. The Social Centre also has toilet facilities.

When are we there?

The Talybont Residence Life Assistants are in the Social Centre every Monday - Thurs from 6:30pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm - 9pm.

Feel free to come round and chat to us and also attend one of our weekly events! We have a Coffee Lounge that runs from 6:30pm - 9pm every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday where you can have a chill, play some board games and make use of the excellent experiences of the RLAs, who have all lived in halls before and know how everything works!
