UAL launches Black Creatives Hub
You are invited to explore a new innovative space dedicated to showcasing and celebrating UAL's Black creative community.
Inspired by feedback from students and staff within the University, the results showed their was a strong desire for spaces that amplified the voices of Black staff, students and alumni. 🗣️
By creating a new platform, Black Creatives Hub, which champions, supports and empowers UAL's Black community, they will be able to showcase their work, research and achievements, as well as share information about resources, opportunities and events to empower Black creatives across the UK. 🤝🏿
The Hub will not only tackle underrepresentation of the Black community across creative industries, it will also exist alongside the University’s wider anti-racism strategy and ongoing efforts to dismantle systemic racism within the arts.
We encourage you to throw your support behind the new Black Creatives Hub by exploring and engaging with the incredible and diverse content that champions Black representation within creative industries! 🎨
