Top things to know about Glassyard Building

With the Brixton junction on your doorstep, there are so much exciting places to check out around this UAL hall.

Transport Essentials 🚌

Glassyard Building is very well-connected in South London. You will be located within a 6 minute walk to Stockwell tube station.

The Brixton tube station and Brixton overground are also just a 15 minute walk away, plus there are plenty of buses and cycle paths to take you into central London.

Getting into the gym 🧘

Whether you are getting back into exercise or a well-seasoned gym goer, why not sign up to Jetts Gym 24hr Fitness Clapham or Gymnasium Brixton, CrossFit during your studies.

If you are looking for something with a relaxing flow, MoreYoga is a 5 minute walk away or SW4 Pilates is a 15 minute walk away.

Cafes, pubs and restaurants 🌮

Our students love living in Glassyard as it's only a 10 minute walk away to Brixton high street which is full of popular cafés, bars and restaurants.

You will be spoilt for choice with so many student friendly places to choose from, including Club Mexicana, the Cheese Wheel and Master Wei.

Step out into nature 🌿

On your doorstep you have a couple of lovely parks, including Slade Gardens and Max Roach Park which are both within a 5 minutes walk away.

If you are wanting a larger park to explore, the Clapman Common is a 30 minute walk or 15 minute bus ride away, which has something for everyone, such as local sports and a music hall.

In the warmer months, head down to the Brockwell Lido for a swim and frolic in the water. This journey will take about 30 minutes walking or 18 minutes by bus.
