Ripe banana? Bake it, don't bin it
We're turning waste into tasty food!
Our mission to reduce waste to the very minimum has always been at the core, and one of the many ways we are doing this is through baking. The bananas you see in our canteens will now be given a new lease of life, by using ripe bananas and turning them into yummy banana bread.
Sharon, our dedicated pastry chef at East Bank, will be baking delicious banana bread which will then be sold at the café on level 10.
We aren't heroes, but we're doing our part in making sure that imperfect fruit and vegetables aren't wasted. After all, why discard something that you can do so much with?
Keep your eye out for our new banana bread, available in our cafés now.
