UAL Halls Life are partnering with the trailblazing organisation Trans in the City to launch the first ever Trans and Non-binary student ambassador programme. 🤩 This programme will launch on the 1st June for students and graduates across the UK.
This partnership and launch is the first of its kind, with UAL and Halls Life being at the heart of the development of this programme.
🏳️⚧️ Trans in the City are the world’s largest organisation for trans and non-binary people in business. Established in 2017, they became a not-for-profit company in 2022, and are led by trans and non-binary people. They collaborate with over 300 global corporate partners to raise awareness, share contacts and best practice, provide role models and speakers and access to consultancy and training. They are now delving into Higher Education and offering free support and guidance to institutions across the UK providing a pathway and platform for trans and non-binary students to access a better employment pipeline once graduated. 🏳️⚧️
We are currently looking for the below 🔎:
Graphic Designers
Photographers
Moving Image /Sound Creatives
- Trans and Non-binary UAL students and alumni are strongly advised to apply for these roles.
- We need a concept and logo designed that will be utilised on digital brochures, social media posts, tote bags, t-shirts, and leaflets.
- A full design brief will be given to you if chosen for the role.
- If your logo and concept get chosen to be produced, you will also support the new programme and expansion of assets which means more working hours will be given over the coming months. These will be flexible around your schedule but fixed hours a week.

You are strongly encouraged to apply if you identify as trans or non-binary.
Candidates must have graphic design experience and are able to demonstrate this within their portfolio and cover letter.
