Black Pound Day movement | Living Black at uni
Help support the Black Pound Day movement.
Created in the UK as a response to the Black Lives Matter movement, Black Pound Day encourages people to buy from Black businesses and spend money in the Black community on the first Saturday of every month. 🙌🏾
By supporting this movement, you can help grow the Black economy and close the wealth disparity in the UK.
You can search for and spend with Black businesses via the Black Pound Day directory and marketplace. You can also help spread the movement by promoting it, leaving a review online, or telling a friend about it. 🙌🏾
And if you'd like to know where you can find Black-owned shops and businesses across London, you can check out Candace Abroad's article.
