We're thrilled to announce that the University of Leicester has been awarded a silver accreditation by Investor in Students for our stand-out student experience and service delivery in student accommodation!

The award is based on detailed surveys of students and staff, and by demonstrating evidence of student-led change between the first assessment in November 2022 and the second in May 2023.

The University of Leicester community prides itself on being Citizens of Change, so this recognition of our commitment to enacting change based on student feedback is extremely important to us.

Thank you to all the students and staff who shared their views, it's essential to get your voice heard. The 2023/2024 Investor in Students Survey will launch in Autumn 2023, where we'll be going for gold!

Investor in Students, alongside WAU Marketing Agency, run a twice-yearly comprehensive satisfaction survey for University accommodation and private purpose-built student accommodation providers. They make a thorough assessment by surveying students, front-of-house staff and senior management.

Investor in Students provide us with a detailed analysis of results and trends, with recommendations and actionable outcome measures. We can make changes to our services based on the Autumn assessment, to demonstrate our commitment to student-led improvement in the Spring survey. Based on their scores, institutions may receive an official accreditation from Investor in Students.

At this point in time we have only received a summary of the University's performance. We'll be receiving the full data analysis from WAU very soon, and will be excited to share what we've been doing well and how we hope to make improvements in future!

Leicester's overall student satisfaction rating (calculated based on Net Promoter Scores) was 72.3%. Satisfaction with services among front-of-house staff was 74.5%, and among senior management was 76.0%.

Between the first assessment in November 2022 and the second in May 2023, the average score increased by 15.6%.

These results earnt the University of Leicester a Silver Investor in Students accreditation.
