The City
Getting from The City to Campus
Being on The City Campus, it couldn't be easier to get to your lectures and all the amenities that the main campus offers.
Walk 🚶
No matter which hall you're staying in, you're no more than a few minutes away from the main campus. (If you're staying in Opal Court and studying in the George Davies Centre, it's literally 260m from door to door!)
Bus 🚌
With everything within walking or cycling distance, you won't need to get a bus to uni but it's worth knowing that there public transport links in Leicester are great for exploring! You can either get a annual/term-time pass or just pay as you go.
Bike 🚲
With bike racks available in The City and underground bike storage on campus, it's easy and secure to cycle to campus. Leicester is a cycle-friendly city too so you'll find plenty of cycle lanes.
If you wanted to cycle but don't have your own bike, Leicester does have its own e-bike scheme, Santander Cycles where you can hire an electric bike for getting around.
Car 🚘
There's no student parking available on campus or in The City accommodation so we would highly recommend not bringing your ca. Everything is in such close proximity, you won't need one!
