Budget-friendly restaurants in Leicester 🍽️

If you are looking for a delicious meal that won’t break the bank, Leicester has plenty of options for you. Here are some of the best cheap eats in Leicester:

📍 Six Hills Cafe’ Bakery & Pizzeria:
This cosy cafe offers freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes, and pizzas, as well as breakfast and lunch dishes. You can enjoy a two-course meal for £17.95 or a three-course meal for £20.95, and add a drink for only £3. The cafe is located at 669 Fosse Way, LE7 4TF, Leicester, and is open from 9:30 am to 3 pm on weekdays, and from 9:30 am to 9 pm on weekends.

📍 Harvester - Meridian Park:
This family-friendly restaurant serves classic British dishes, such as fish and chips, roast chicken, burgers, and salads, as well as a salad bar and a kids menu. You can get a main course for around £10, and a dessert for around £5. The restaurant is located at Meridian Leisure Park, LE19 1LU, Leicester, and is open from 11 am to 10:30 pm on weekdays, and from 11 am to 11:30 pm on weekends.

📍 Toby Carvery - Loughborough:
If you love a traditional roast dinner, you will love Toby Carvery, where you can choose from four types of meat, unlimited vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy. You can also enjoy a starter, a dessert, or a drink from their menu. The carvery costs £8.99 on weekdays, and £10.99 on weekends, and the restaurant is located at Forest Road, LE11 3JF, Loughborough, and is open from 8 am to 10 pm every day.

📍 Daft Bird Leicester:
This fast-food joint specialises in grilled chicken, burgers, wraps, and salads, with a variety of sauces and sides to choose from. You can get a meal deal for around £5, or a family bucket for around £15. The food is halal, and the restaurant is located at 137 Grandby Street, LE1 6FJ, Leicester, and is open from 11 am to 11 pm every day.

📍 Amigo – Leicester:
Fast food joint on London Road serving grilled chicken wraps, burgers and pizzas. Very budget friendly and is open till 3am every day and offers a great variety of drinks and donuts. Average price range is between £5-9. It is halal and is close by to the University of Leicester (15min walking distance).

📍 Kuru Kuru (sushi) Leicester: 
Sushi bar on 11 Welford Road, within 20 minutes of walking distance from the University of Leicester. At this food place it is authentic Japanese food as the owner was trained in Japan and is known for his authenticity and accuracy with sushi. Prices range between £3-9. Service is immaculate and is open till 10pm apart from Sundays.

📍 Rio’s:
Fast food chain that specialises in chicken and burgers, with a touch of Portuguese flavour. They offer a variety of Piri Piri dishes, such as wings, strips, platters, and salads, with a choice of sauces and sides. You can also enjoy their burgers, wraps, and desserts. The average price for a main course is around £8. Location is LE1 1DE
