Weekend Wanderer - Arthur's Seat
Add this event to your calendar
As promised, on Saturday, the 14th of September, the ResLife team will be taking you to explore Arthur’s seat.
Arthur's Seat, or Suidhe Artair in Scottish Gaelic, is an ancient volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Holyrood Park. The hill rises above the city to a height of 250.5 m (822 ft) and provides excellent panoramic views of Edinburgh and beyond. (So make sure your mobile is fully charged so you can take videos and pictures!)
Arthur’s Seat is relatively easy to climb and is a popular walk amongst locals and tourists. However, please do wear decent footwear (not sandals and definitely not high heels) and be prepared for a hike.
- When: Saturday, 14th of September
- Time: 11 am – 3 pm
- Meeting point: Aidan will meet you at the main reception bus stop at 11 am, please don’t be late.
